iPod Will the usb cable for iPod shuffle 3/4g work for the iPod shuffle 2g?

If it's just a straight usb to headphone cord, then yes. If it has some sort of base, no.

if it is the short white cable, then no. i have a 2nd gen and a 4th gen and no the 4th gen cable does not work with the 2nd gen. best buy sells a cable that does work, its around $7.
