Will the video card from the Mac Pro work in a G5

The Mac Pro's video card is the NVIDIA Geforce 7300 GT (256MB)

Does anyone know for certain if it will work in a G5 that has PCI express slots?

I have heard that this card ONLY works in the Mac Pro, BUT I suspect that information is incorrect.

The 7300GT card will work in pc's and Mac Pros not older macs. The card contains an EFI firmware and PC Bios not a typical mac firmware.
