I have heard that there might be a light weight (aluminum) 14 pro? any merit to this? I sure hope so! I truly HATE the weight of the stainless on the Max especially - I am probably the only one who went from a 13 Pro Max to a regular 13 iPhone and love it! LOL

There have been some sketchy rumors saying the pros may be titanium...but that is still two-thirds heavier than aluminum. Of course no one will know for sure until they are revealed this fall.

ahh yeah ok.. bummer

Won’t be titanium.

If you like a bigger yet lighter phone, rumour has it that Apple will release iPhone 14 Max (non-pro) which is aluminium.

Anyone else get the iPhone 13 or mini instead of the Pro due to weight?
Yep, was leaning towards the Pro, but went with the regular 13 after seeing how heavy it was in the stores. I kinda wanted the 3x camera, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I have an M1 iPad Pro, and I honestly cannot tell the difference with ProMotion, so not missing out on that either.

yeah only thing is the camera... but not a huge difference really expect low light... low light weight!!
Like i was saying i used the Pixel 6a this past weekend was a pure delight in terms of weight!

I hope not… I like fairly heavy iPhones. Otherwise they feel cheap. Heavy=well made. Look at Samsung… mostly plastic! No thank you! I hope the 14 is also thicker. The iPhone is getting too thin.

I doubt they will come out with a lighter 14 Pro this year with the rumors out. I’ve read where a lot of people don’t like the weight of the Pro/Pro Max. I’m in the minority as the weight don’t bother me and I wish the phone was bigger than 6.7.
