Maybe there will be an 11S (not Pro) and then a redesigned 12 Pro, like the 8/8+ and X release.

I highly doubt that. That release was a unique one to transition to the next decade of Face ID phones.

I do. I mean, ‘Pro Max’? Phil Schiller and his marketing team should be embarrassed, and I’m not picking on them, but they’re better than that. Apple has some of the best marketing in the world, but they obviously are trying to build the ‘Max’ name by showing which one is the best having the newest camera, which is why they chose Pro.

11 pro max doesn’t sound right. 11S pro max sounds worse.

I'm surprised they went with 11 this year. It's hard enough for the Scotts to pronounce 11 in the first place, then roll for an 11s next year? Pure sadism.

I heard a strong rumor that it will be 12 next year with some weird bendy screen.

Next year, if Apple redesigned the phone, it will no longer call iPhone Pro, but they will probably use a different name , such as

iphone 5G
iphone 5G Air
iphone 5G Air Max

Horrible names. Even with the redesign, I really hope it’s just called:

iPhone 11s
iPhone 11s Pro
iPhone 11s Pro Max.

There is no need to break apart from the traditional naming scheme again.

The iPhone 11 is an s type refresh on top of another s type refresh. It is essentially the iPhone Xss. My assumption (backed up by rumors) is that Apple is working on something bigger for 2020.

The iPhone 11 is the iPhone 7 of this design cycle. Even the camera leap mirrors the strategy they had with the 7.

I hope not. They need to come out with a new and different phone every year, not every other year. That S crap is really tiresome. I hope it’s an iPhone 12 with revolutionary new features instead of a lazy retread.

iphone X is not complete full design people , only camera , edge and look same as 6 >€

only complete redesign is 3G to 4 when SJ was Ceo

I don’t see any benifits to having a tear drop design.

Apple is predicable, they take precious revision to a product and adopt them in future devices. I’m this case, the new redesign (imo) I’ll look like the 2018 iPad pros/ iPhone 4-5s. Going back to the ice cream sandwich body.

Lol. I was being sarcastic. Teardrop design rumor is an old one. I can’t remember if it was 5S-6 or 4S-5 but it was a big rumor back then. Even some cases showed up (from some reputable case makers) based on the teardrop design. It’s terrible looking. So 2010.
