Will They Replace it?

My MacBook has Cracked at hte palmrest. and i am way way way out of warranty.
Im going to sheffield tomorrow to see if they will replace it .
Will they ?
(oh and i cba searching, im sure this wont hurt everyone)

Always give it a try, it all depends on the person that's gonna receive you, but it's worth a shot.

Lots of people have had success with getting a macbook palm rest replaced out of warranty (its a widespread, known issue). That doesn't mean they will be so nice to you, but it's worth a shot.

okay. well if i go for the sympathy vote saying that ive had to have a hard drive replaced and my first top case got discoloured so i had to buy a new one. will that make it better or worse lol.

They should replace it(the top case) since it's a known issue.

I just got back from the apple store and they will replace it for free! Score!
they didnt have the bloody part as the guy next to me at the genius bar had bloody taken the last one. bastard 😀
