Will this be good for my 13.3" late 2009 mackbook pro

    Sure. You could save a couple of bucks by ordering from newegg . . . I'd also suggest a Hitachi drive--they are OEM and seem to vibrate less than the WDs.

    I bought 2 4 GB sticks of Crucial RAM for my MBP at Microcenter--$42.99 each.

    I also think you're on the right track with a 5400 RPM drive--I tried every major brand in a 13" MBP and felt that they all vibrated too much. I'm sensitive to vibration, so if you're not, no big deal. But do be aware of it.

    Thank you very much for your answer just to clarify my MBP will support 8 gigs of ram?

    definitely, max is 8gb
