Will this Camera work with imovie 09 or Final Cut Express?

Hi my name is Sophia.
Im looking at buying this camera: HV20 or HV30 or HV40

Do you know if one of them works with Final Cut Express or iMovie 09'?

Is the Quality good, when uploaded to youtube (i know its hd, but is the quality good when uploaded?)

If it does not work. what is a good hd camera that works with iMovie 09 (or) FCE. under $1000. Thanks!

Looks like the HV20 is definitely compatible with FCE.

I would assume all tape-based camcorders with firewire would work. I haven't come across any that haven't been recognized with FCE but I could be wrong.

That's very misleading....

The HV series are TAPE-BASED. All DV camcorders are supported by imovie 09, they didn't list all them that are in existence....

The HV20/30/40 WILL WORK with imovie 09 without a problem.
