it says there are usb ports on it but I could have misread it. What I want to know is, will it charge the new iPhone, if any of you have any experience with it.
3,000 mah battery is about twice the battery capacity of the iPhone so it will charge about 2 iPhones completely correct? Just wanting to know before I return this terrible ghost armor and get this instead.

Yes.

Anything outputting more than 5v .5A will charge the iPhone. It seems to have enough output to even charge an iPad from its specs.

–Output: Apple 30-pin: 5 V, 2.1 A; USB-A: 5 V, 1.0 A; Micro-USB: 5 V, 1.0 A

Edit

Your link even shows it to be compatible.

While compatible, it looks like it's overpriced by 3x or more. E.g. for that price on Amazon you could get 12000 mAh (4x the charging). Or, for the same charging you could get one that costs $22.

Amazon search term: "iphone usb battery"

Regards,
Tom

It's a bit deceiving to say that is compatible. You would need the Lighting to 30-pin adapter in order to use it.

I think you should be able to plug your "Lightning to USB" cable (that comes with all iPhone 5's) into the USB plug on this device.

No need to buy a adapter.
