Will this External Enclosure work for my SuperDrive?

I have a 2011 Macbook Pro 13" and I am swapping the superdrive for an SSD, spotted this cheap enclosure on Ebay and was wondering if it would be compatible.

No, that is for a tray-loading drive. You might be better off just buying a full USB DVD drive, as some of the slot-loading cases are not cheap.

states in his description that he got his enclosure for $6.75, so it got my hopes up, though his link no longer works. Any ideas to similarly priced compatibly products?

I don't know enough about it to definitively say no, but I doubt it. The superdrive is a slot load drive, and that enclosure is for a drive that has a tray. You would need an enclosure that supports a slot-load drive
