Will this Processor work in my MacPro 1,1

Enjoy. My pro is great after doing the ugrade. And an SSD makes it stupid fast for a seven year old computer.
 
I got 16Gb's pr ram from 18004memery on eBay for $120. I sent them a OBO and they accepted!
 
Going from 4 to 8 cores of the same speed won't improve anything unless your apps are beefy enough to use all 8 cores. The 3.0GHz gives an every-app improvement in machine speed.

Yeah I'm sure but I'm on a budget. Its about $75 for 2 2.66ghz or $300ish for 2 3.0ghz

In due time when they drop down in price I'll pick up a pair of 3.0ghz
