Hi All

Was hoping if someone could tell me if I can you the below RAM in my 2009 Quad Mac Pro ?

G.Skill RipJaw 12GB (3x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz

- Cas latency: 9-9-9-24-2N
- Capacity: 12GB (4GBx3)
- Speed: DDR3-1333 (PC3 10666)
- Test voltage: 1.5 Volts
- Type: 240-pin DIMM
 
No, you need 1066Mhz RAM for the 2009s. Also, MPs need RAM with a thermal sensor on it. Oh, and since your box supports ECC, might as well get it. (Although non-ECC is ok as long as you don't mix)
