Will this RAM work with the iMac?

    On paper, yes. Try it and if it doesnt work look at Crucial RAM.

    That NewEgg is not a great price:
    $238 for a kit at Data Memory Systems, who actually know Macs, and offer excellent service. And they test and guarantee their RAM in Macs.

    Please try a Search in the forum, this also has been covered many times here.

    Although the FSB is 800 MHz, the memory controller is hardwired at 667 and therefore 800 MHz RAM will give no advantage.
