Hi, I've got a macbook pro 13 inch early 2011 and i'm thinking of upgrading my ram. The store near my place only sells Mushkin DDR3 1333MHz PC3-10666. Will this ram be compatible with my macbook as the Mushkin ram is 10666 compared to the specification stated at apple's website which is PC3-10600 DDR3 1333 MHz type RAM? And i do not know what does the 10666 stands for. Would appreciate if someone could help :)

I would probably stick to the 10600 ram to avoid any issues. Are you posed to ordering online, or do you have to pick it up locally?

Collecting it locally.

Yes, the RAM will work, if it is 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM.
And the 10666 = 1333,25 x 8.

10666 is the speed???

Lets say if i purchase a 8gb stick and decided to use it with one of the stock ram. So I'll have 10gb. Will the 10666 and 10600 be compatible together??

There is no speed difference between 10666 and 10600 - just make sure the timing is the same. If the timing is the same, you can mix them.

Here is an explanation of why you see 10600, 10666 and 10700 listings: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/274587-31-10600-10666-what-difference#t2045244
