Will this RX580 work on a Mac Pro?

Anyone know if this card by MSI will work on a Mac Pro?

Any RX 580 should work, but there’s only one that gets properly identified as such.

Cool, because I remember reading that to avoid cards like PowerColor Red Devil and those made by XFX before

You know, it's funny, on my Hacintoch, with a Gigabyte RX 580, when I boot native, the card works without any mods and is properly reported as an RX 580. Even HDMI audio works without need for any mods.

When I boot the same drive in Qemu, with PCI Passthrough, I have to patch the AMD framebuffer, and add a mod for HDMI audio, and the card show up as Radeon R9xx.

I have a XFX and it works fine. Can’t speak for others.
