I can't pass up the less than a dollar price point. 😛 But the "female" part seems like it may not work. Opinions?

I wouldn't touch something that cheap. I have one that looks like that. Got it as one of those free promotional type gifts from my employer. I plugged it in and it got really hot. Not something I would leave hooked up to my iphone long enough to charge. Last time I plugged something into the cigarette lighter that got that hot it litterally started smoking (and no it wasn't a cigarette lol).

According to its specs it outputs the same amount of power as the iPhone wall adapter. But for that price I wouldn't trust it.

It just isn't worth the risk.

I have that; it does work. I was worried about the price, but I've always trusted Monoprice, so I did this time.

I've course I've only used it a handful of times. I don't know why they said it doesn't work on the iPhone when it does.
