Will using metal lugs damage aluminium Apple Watch

I’ve decided to get a new strap which has metal lugs from epic watch bands. Will the metal lugs damage the aluminium? I have only ever used the sports bands in the past with the soft rubber lugs. Thanks

Just don’t be clumsy with them when you slide them into the slots. I have used several metal Lugs on my aluminum with no issues. I even use metal lugs that come without a band on them, the ones that you can add any band you want with a band rod.
