Does anyone know if Verizon will activate the SIM-free iPhone 6 model A1586?

I've heard that they will ONLY activate Verizon phones, which would be the model A1549, which is the CDMA Verizon iPhone 6.

I'm wondering if they have a whitelist of IMEI numbers that only the model A1549 would have.

I just bought an unlocked iPhone 6 (A1586) from Apple store and walked to Verizon store next door to activate the phone. Everything worked like a charm.:)

Yes Verizon will activate an iPhone model A1586 as will any of the other 3 large carriers including Sprint. Just like it says on Apples website.

This was all covered in another thread. I'm pretty sure you were participating as well.

I have a sim free iPhone 6+, and the Verizon website doesn't give me any errors when I check the MEID.
