I have a question...
what if i never upgrade MY account
lets say hypothetically im on a family plan and i upgrade one of THEIR phones then activate it, deactivate it, than switch it over to my line.
would this work?
Am i finding a loophole in the system?
I wont see why this wouldnt work

Yes, you could get away by upgrading on someone elses line and then using it with your number.

If you upgrade another line, you can't deactivate the account since you're tied to a 2 year contract on that line.
You can simply switch phones, that will work. Screws the person who has the other line though.

now my last question is
If i upgrade another account and never activate that line (or activate it then deactivate the iphone and reactivate the old phone) will I then be able to sell that iphone as new?
