Will we have a Phone app on the iPad?

At the moment I'm getting my phone calls under the FaceTime app on the iPad.

Do you think that we will have a phone app on the iPad?
 
No, because the FaceTime app is working as the phone app when connected to an iPhone. There would be no need to have a separate app to do the work.

There is no need because FaceTime does the job. But still I find pretty weird to get phone calls under FaceTime, not very accurate but whatever.
