Think we'll see a discount on the current Apple Watch this holiday season? Up until last year we did see Target and others offering a nice discount or gift card for the current model, but last year we didn't see such. The Apple Watch 5 remained full-priced, while they did offer a significant discount on the old AW3.

Think we'll see a discount on the current Apple Watch this holiday season? If we see a discount on the latest generation of an Apple Watch, it’s probably about $50 off. And that’s being generous, just in the sense that the watch was just released within this last month. If anything, you might find some retailers who don’t provide a ‘discount’ on the Apple Watch, but include a gift card with the purchase of the Apple Watch As an incentive. Also, I do expect the Series 5 to be slashed.

Generally what we saw in the past was Target offering a $50 gift card with purchase. That'd be fine enough, plus the addition of 5% off with the RED card.

I have only seen $50 and at one point BB had a free watch band. I also saw that BB is planning on clearing out the S5 with up to $250.00 off the SS. I doubt we will see much of a discount on the series 6 since they seem to be having issues with stock.

Costco lists the AW6 GPS, 44 mm with black sports band at $415. Flyer beginning 11/23 says $25 off.
$390 is not a bad price.
Or the 40 mm is $385 at Costco, so with the $25 off, we’re talking $360.
I’m in treatment for atrial fibrillation, so I think I might see what Black Friday brings...

This may not apply to most of you since you already have a watch and service, but I finally broke down and bought an Apple Watch with new service. Verizon gave me $150 off a 44mm Series 6 GPS+Cellular, through two years of bill credits of course. But a discount is a discount, so I thought I would pass it along.
