I don’t care if it’s 1mm off, but I want to make sure it sticks properly to the screen. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.
It should stick just fine, the only concern we should have is merely aesthetics because the actual VIEWING display area on the sides of the notch was decreased and shortened meaning that the dark black hardware part of the notch area housing is now WIDER which means that the XS screen protector will slightly go over the Face ID notch area module as opposed to being a flush cut screen protector that precisely covered in the actual display area of the iPhone and the notch area curves as it did on the XS.

by the way, I personally contacted tech armor about this and they said that even with the newly discovered dimensions of the 11 Pro they will not release a differently cut version for the iPhone 11 Pro and that the XS cutout according to their engineers is still the optimal cut for the iPhone 11 Pro’s display so don’t expect a revised version to be released from them

I have one unused hd clear film tech armor XS screen protector at home from last year that I will be installing to my iPhone 11 Pro today in the evening so we’ll see then

That seems to be exactly the case unless you get a screen protector installed by the Apple store?
Apple only seems to have the Belkin screen protectors and I couldn't get an answer on wether they're just rebranded XS screens.

They're probs the same items, but the machine will have a different insert to fit the 11 Pro/Max.

I’ve used these icarez for several iPhones now from the x, xs, and now the 11. I can vouch that the iPhone XS Max and the 11 pro max are compatible. I love the black borders, it makes it look like there’s no screen on it.
Also, the bubbles magically disappear after it settles within 24 hours.

I did the Spigen and it's serviceable but it doesn't exactly fit. It's offset just a bit to the left and the notch isn't aligned quite right.

Odds are nobody makes adjustments but we'll see.

I installed this same protector this afternoon but the 3D version instead of the cheaper 2.5D version, has an extra from from my XS Max and it is NOT a perfect fit. The ear hole on the protector is much larger then the 11 Pro Max, this is not a perfect fit. Also, the tray (like all X/XS trays) is not compatible with the 11 Pro Max.

I’d wait for true 11 screen protectors, folks. Use these XS ones as a temporary stop gap.

I like these too, but the oleophobic coating wears off really quickly. I usually do a pretty good job with the install so hoping these will work. I hate using the phone without a protector.
Got my 11 Pro Max today and immediately installed the iCarez screen protector, I didn't even power the phone on. I pulled off the plastic overlay on the screen and dropped one of these on, 5 minute job and it's perfect. Zero bubbles and as another poster said the black border truly makes it look like there is no screen protector on the phone at all, I love this brand. I also have had no issues with the oleophobic coating wearing off.

One slight negative is that I found the installation frame to be a bit flimsier than previous ones I received but it didn't affect the install.

I did a pair XR nearly flawlessly then same with a new 11 Pro (though fit is so so).

Time to do my new 11 and I botched the first attempt, and the second and final try had a defect in the protector. I took it off thinking I had another pack but it was for the 11 Pro.

Oh well my number didn’t port correctly either so a couple days won’t matter.

I have these as well, and the install frame doesn't fit at all. If your's actually fit the Max Pro, they have a new version out already with a frame that fits? I had to install without the frame.

I ordered these, installed perfectly yesterday. Zero lint, aligned perfectly and not a bubble anywhere. Also, full coverage. (canned air is the key)

I'm tempted to paid the $49.99CND for the one at the apple store and have them install it with the machine.

Ok guys i got my iPhone 11 Pro today at the local Apple store and had the apple store install the belkin glass screen protector on for me, They used that device to install it and just for the sake of clarifications, They are using XS/XS Max screen protectors for the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, they do NOT have iPhone 11 Pro specific screen protectors. anyway, im not sure how i feel about this glass screen protector, the alignment is somewhat good but a bit of a sway to the left towards the notch area but except that the screen protector is installed. Now, im usually used to using TechArmor film screen protectors and i am not sure i like the thickness of this glass screen protector to the point im thinking about peeling it off and installing one of my TechArmor film screen protectors instead, Does it take time to get used to the bevel of the glass screen protector?

What do you guys think? keep the belkin glass protector on? they reviews on these belkin glass protectors seem to claim that they break? Hows that so when belkin advertises how strong these protectors are on their website and marketing material?

Yes the frame fit but it's much tighter than previous ones I got for my X and XS Max. Also the sides bowed a bit but since the top and bottom didn't bow it still did the job. Are you using the 11 Pro Max specific kit?

TETHYS Glass Screen Protector Designed for Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max/iPhone Xs Max (6.5") [Edge to Edge Coverage] Full Protection Durable Tempered Glass [Guidance Frame Included] - Pack of 3 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FQY28GR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_vBUHDb54FXRAV

These are what I used on Pro Max. Didn’t see if alignment tray would work. Also what I used on XS Max. I love them. Used to use iCarez; May have to check them out one day again. I changed my Tethys about ever 3-5 months for good measure and never had any issues with them, either.

I installed the TechArmor film protector (for XS)and it fit well on the 11 pro, I just couldn’t get used to the thickness of the glass belkin protector and i took it off this morning

I wanted to order the Spigen GlastR EZ Fit iPhone XS Glass screenprotector for my iPhone 11 Pro. But the installation-case won't fit on my iPhone 11 Pro then, because it's officially for the XS?

Spigen GlastR EZ Fit iPhone XS Glass screenprotector

I have mine from last year and it fits on my iphone 11 pro, it was a little snug but fit easily enough. I don't have anymore screen protectors to try on it to see if it aligns properly though.
