At an apple store? I use a prepaid plan and hoping to buy the new iPhone at launch. If so, how much more do you have to pay?

The iPhone 4 and 3GS we're never sold as unlocked phones during their respective launches in the U.S because that option did not exist until this summer.

I dont care about unlocked or locked, just that can you get it without a contract.

They were sold in the US since the summer, they just aren't advertised at all by Apple. Just a small little link on the Apple Store website. This is how I am going to use my iPhone 4S, with T-Mobile in the US 🙂
