I bought it yesterday just to see what it was like, it's making my iPhone 4s really hot, very hot to the point where I decided to take the case off to let it cool down. I only played it for a few minutes, anyone else noticing the heating?

Anyone playing it on a 3GS? I know it is supported, but the first IB was a lot for my phone to handle. If someone sent me a text in the middle it usually took the rest of the fight for the graphics to catch up. It was the worst on the GK when you are on the third part on the floor and haven't been hit yet and then your wife texts you and you end up dying because the phone didn't recognize your swipe on his super attack chain... I really didn't care what was for dinner that night...

Well.. It's not bad. Idk if it's worth $7, but the graphics are nice and smooth which is refreshing.

I really want to spend a bunch on in-app purchases, but I holding back.. Kinda strange. I beat the first area, now I'm at the next area. I beat the final guy, then stuck my arm in the seal thing and it killed me. Now I'm going through the same place but I chose different paths and I keep going up against lvl 100+ guys that are kicking my butt.

I found that the first couple people at each area have poor responsiveness, but then it gets better. I'm having trouble using magic though. The fire and lightning symbols are picked up, but like the water and crystal take a few tries to use which is annoying..

Edit: makes my battery drain faster than it charges....

A5 devices can see the max out graphics, older devices will see it without the max graphics.

NOPE. Imagine boxing games.

Yeap. That's why i don't play those.

It is just a graphics demo. Looks nice, but i would rather waste my time on modern combat or battleheart, thank you very much.

Not bad.. Just finished it for the first time through. Can wait for some DLC or whatever they're callin it. Not a bad game, but I purchased IB1 on my JB 3GS so I can hack it and buy all the best stuff to breeze through it. It was fun dying a few times in IB2, but now I just want to wreck some people lol. Wonder when someone will figure out a coin mod for IB2..?

I also experienced the heating problem on my 4S. After half an hour it nearly starts hurting if you are holding it in your hand.

Btw the twitter guys didn't reply on the iCloud problem yet. Anyone got an idea how to sync between two devices?

My 4S gets hot, but my Ipad 2 didn't seem to. After playing all day on my iPhone, I went home and launched it on my iPad 2 and all of my data was there. I didn't have to do anything. You may try deleting it from your iPad and reinstalling. I'd also fire it up on your iPhone before launching it on the iPad.

So how much are you guys losing battery wise per hour on this?

Roughly 10-20% per 30 minutes or so. IB2 really likes to drain the battery.

I haven't played through it enough times, assume it changes, but it seemed reallly really really really short and reallly really really easy compared to IB1 (to me). And the beginning was so freaking boring. The story is like absolutely stupid

It also ran somewhat sluggish on my iPhone 4.

I absolutely love the dual wielding and the UI looks so much better.

What I want to know is why they can get away with putting a "content coming soon" icon in their app when that gets the rest of us rejected :eyeroll:

I'm having major buyer's remorse. The game itself is gorgeous, but I'm not really "getting" the actual game play. Big, slow moving opponent is just standing there, so I thwap him with what should be a devastating wound, and the jerk tells me that "it's just a scratch." It's like I'm battling the Black Knight from the Monty Python sketch!

I just reinstalled it on the iPad, still nothing. In the iCloud settings i can see 6 "Infinity Blade 2 Save Files" on both devices

I had the first IB, but then found out my new love was Modern Combat 3, Its actually made me want to get Counter-Strike again.

Oh those dayssssss were AMAZING!

Bought and hacked (to add a bunch of coins to buy everything) both games after the first play-through.. It was entertaining once, but unless they add more levels or areas, there's no way this was worth the $.. IMO that is..

By seeing the reviews of Infinity 2 I really want to buy this game. But I have heard it has issues with ipads. Can some one tell me if it is worth buying?

Anybody had issues with battery life after downloading this app? My friend has moaned his phone has drained more since downloading it.

Depends on what kind of games you like. (And how hard you like them) This game starts out pretty easy but after a few hours it starts to get quite a bit harder.

As far as iPad issues, the only thing I experienced was a known issue they are supposedly working on - the first time the app is run something screwy happens with the sound effects. I killed the app per the dev's instructions and everything has been fine since.

One of the fantastic things about this game is it saves your data using iCloud so if I play a bit during lunch at work, it picks up exactly where I left off at home on the iPad. No save buttons or anything to manage or do. It just works - this is how all iOS games should be.

The game is like a combat RPG. The gameplay is all about timing swipes and taps to block, parry, and dodge attacks, and attack your enemy when he is vulnerable. There is also magic. You get XP and $ for winning battles. XP is used to increase your stats and $ is used to buy new gear and items just like any RPG.

The environment and enemy designs are fantastic. The graphics are incredible and really showcase what the iPad 2 and 4S GPU can do with Unreal Engine 3.

On the down side, this game will chew through battery like crazy. It's not something you can plan to play for a long flight on your iPhone. iPad lasts longer of course.
