Will you be selling your other iDevices for the bigger iPhone?

Will you skip the ipad mini 3 and/or sell the ipad rMini if you buy the 5.5?

when the 4.7 and 5.5 gets released this year, will you be selling other idevices that you have, ipad rMini, ipad air etc.. right now I have the rMini along with my 5S. I'm definitely buying the 4.7 and the 5.5.. the question is I don't know if I should skip the ipad mini 3 because the 5.5 will compensate for the "bigger screen".

you guys think 5.5 will cannibalize or replace the mini 3?
 
There is a chance I'll skip the 3rd Mini if I can get an iPhone in a 5.5" size. When I was using a Note 3 I didn't see a need to have a tablet as well as I only read/play games on my tablet.
 
I know, a lot of people are selling their rmini and buying 5.5 as the replacement. I wonder if that will cannibalize sales.
 
I think it will Cannibalize it. I've already thought of not buying a tablet, selling my 5, and allocating 100-200 more on top for the 5.5 inch model. Not sure if that's a good idea but it's one way to go!
 
Not everyone sells their iDevices to help pay for a new one. We don't (my wife and I). We keep them. And since we don't use cases (I hate them) they would not fetch a mint condition price anyway.

It's not necessary when we use either a portion of our tax refund or the one or two spare paychecks I get a year.

That said, it will probably be the spare paycheck this year that lets me get the larger iPhone 6.

LOL! I wish I had better income so that spare paycheck would just be pocket change!

One paycheck goes to the rent, the other goes to bills. I get paid bi-weekly and I am the only one working (my wife is a stay at home mom). It's a struggle every month. So, the fact that there are one or two months a year with 5 weeks in them equals one or two extra paychecks a year. We count on those to help us out - plus our tax refund.

Really? Where are they buying this nonexistent device? Just curious. And while you're at it, what will Apple stock open at on Wednesday?
 
I don't understand why some people are intending to buy the 4.7 *and* the 5" iPhone.

We are on macRUMORS to talk about possible rumors and scenarios. Its very likely a 5.5" iPhone will be released. No one is talking about buying right now, its about a "would you do this if..."
 
I won't be buying one this year, but the 2015 model I will be buying. I won't sell/trade the iPad for it, but the 5s I have today will go towards the new one.

2015 mini is more than likely a redesign... I can see it now. :D

but the mini 3, I'm debating if I should get it or should I just be happy with the 5.5.

ipad & iPhones are two different devices. I would not get one because of the other. They fit different needs.
 
I plan on selling my iP5 and getting the rumored 5.5" iP6, pending the final design/feel of course. And if I do, I'll definitely be skipping buying a new iPad. As someone else posted, I used a friend's Note 2 briefly a while ago and size and general usability-wise it greatly overlaps with an iPad, mini at least.
 
I might sell my 5G iPod touch, but that's about it. Everything else stays.
 
The 5.5 is too weird of a size imo. It's too awkward to use as a phone and too small for a tablet. The 4.7 I think will be perfect for just about most things.
