Or are you going to wait a month or so? I know money wise it's tough for some? Or are you getting it as a early Xmas present? Think due to bills I may have to wait till November
 
If it's a worthwhile upgrade, and my work schedule permits, I'll be there day 1 to pick one up.
 
I've bought my iPhone 3G on launch day, so yes. I'll buy the iPhone 5 on launch day as well.

Standing in line just has a different feel to it.
 
Probably. Just need to decide whether I want to fork out a lot of money on upcoming video games and wait a little for the iPhone 5 or the other way around.
 
If AT&T bumps my upgrade date yes. My iPhone 4 is on its way out so yes I'll have to buy regardless of specs, otherwise I'd have a more wait and see attitude.
 
I'm gonna wait for a couple of weeks while you guys are the guinea pigs testing for any issues. Plus I can't take time off classes just to stand in line for the iPhone 5 (which would be so much fun).

Where exactly did the chunk of dust fly out from? The sides of the home button and into your mouth? Or from the dock connector?
 
I'm definitely not standing in line for 8 hours, I'll tell you that. I have other things to do than that, so that limits me to preordering or getting after a supplies relax.

But standing in line? Hell no.
 
Last year I waited in line overnight, this year I'm pre-ordering and picking it up in the morning.
 
Think I'm going to pre-order! Anyone happen to know how that works in Ireland?? Don't even have a proper Apple Store here like! :mad:
 
For sure not. I have an iPhone 3G and it does everything I want. The phones already reached the status of the HiFi Systems in the 70s, 80s. Good enough. No need to buy a new one.
 
im gonna pre order the minute we can on the website. I have a 32gb white iphone 4 in MINT condition and NO contract. I can def sell my phone to cover the cost of the new one. And I have a 2nd phone on my account which also has no contract. I'll be placing a pre order for that phone too and selling it on LAUNCH day.
 
If I can get my friend's friend who works at an Apple Store to hold one for me, then yes. Otherwise, I probably can't because I'll be in school :(
 
I'm definitely pre-ordering as soon as it's available this time. Last year I waited a week after it launch and then I ordered from AT&T. Had to wait 3 weeks before I got it.

Last year, a friend of mine pre-orderd right away and he received his iPhone 4 1 day earlier before official launch. Maybe it will happen again :)
