It depends how it works. I already use Zinio on my iPad, and sometimes on my iPhone too.

Of course, I don't use iBooks, mostly because of the lack of a night mode, and also the lack of content. I use Kindle and Stanza pretty much every day though, so I'll probably continue to use Zinio, and ignore Newsstand.

Probably not, I used iBooks for a week or two to read my Tintin comics, never used it since. I would rather read the news on my laptop or get a real newspaper.

No. I get my info and magazine from somewhere else.

I really hope Apple gives us an option to download it or not, like iBooks. Otherwise, it'll be on the last page of my iPhone, next to the Contacts app.

If I can move my current Time subscription to it, then definitely. If not, then I'll probably wait until that runs out and then subscribe on my iPhone. I do think it is a bit ridiculous that Apple doesn't let people hide it.

I'll use Newsstand as much as the Compass app. I'll probably put both on the dock along with Voice Memos and Game Center.

Quick Answer is no if you live outside the U.S. as we have nothing to put on it.

We don't know that for certain yet. The ones announced at WWDC were the ones trusted enough to keep it hush hush until WWDC. Between WWDC and launch, that's enough time to get some international stuff. I highly doubt apple would launch newsstand in countries and leave it empty.

Seeing as its a default app in the beta for iOS 5 it's highly unlikely it's gonna be optional like iBooks as iBooks was not part of the iOS 4 beta.
