Win 7 (32b) on BC 2.1

Hello friends,

I've got XP (SP2) on my 2.1 Bootcamp (10.5.8)

Would I be able to upgrade to Win 7 without having to install BC 3.1?
 
You can do that. I'm pretty sure the bootcamp updates are downloaded in windows itself, so you don't need 3.1 to install win 7
