Hey everybody, as the title says, I have Win 7 x64 (RTM through MSDN at school) and everything works great, except for when I reboot the machine, the Boot Camp tray app is not rebooting with the machine. I have made sure that all of the Boot Camp services are on within Windows, but this is driving me nuts. I have read on the Apple Support Forums that some people think it has to do with VM Ware Fusion, (which I have) but the problem is not related. I have done a new install of Win 7 and didn't configure VM Ware tools, so that rules it out for me. I do know for a fact that the problem is not apparent on a unit that I was working on earlier today (at work, iMac, Vista, SL, x64) and everything worked fine after rebooting (and tray icon came up on that unit). Any ideas?

I did have Leopard with Win 7 RC x64 working flawlessly...
    THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE!!!

Try adding a shortcut to the tray application to the startup folder.

I did that, no dice. I also went in and went into the program files and found a root file of the Boot Camp application, as well as the Apple OS switcher service, added those items to the start up tray, and no dice either... More info

I just re-installed my copy of Win 7 Ult (RC 1,Build 7100) and the OS seems like it might be the culprit. Everything is working as of right now. I have rebooted the computer several times, and I have only had the same error happen once. (Right after a really big Windows Update) I did use the Boot Camp 3.0 program, for testing purposes. So at least from what I can tell, something has changed between the Win 7 RC and the RTM version that affects Boot Camp. I can't believe that I am the only person having this problem though...

I can't believe I am the only person having this issue! I have searched the web including this forum and the Apple discussion forums and it seems as if nobody else is having this issue. I know it is not user error as I have triple checked to make sure it wasn't something that I did. Any ideas?
