Win 98?

    Will windows 98 run on a new MBP with parallels?

    It'll run in VMware so I'd be surprised if Parallels doesn't support it.

    I'm confused. It'll either run or it won't, regardless of the reason that the OP wants it.

    Windows 3 ran on VMware...
    The installation process was horrible

    so yes i think 95 would run on VMware. Idk about parallels though

    Thanks for the reply's.

    I have Win 98 and a XP upgrade. Only need it for Internet Exp so I dont want to buy a newer windows OS.

    I *think* you can install the XP upgrade without installing 98 first. It'll ask for the CD to verify it as part of the installation.

    It's also quite easy to bypass the CD check by adding a few files to the 98 image.
