I have noticed that when I am working in documents and saving them for the first time, if I have the folder it's contained in open in the finder, the icon for it doesn't appear. So it's not automatically updated to show the new file is there. If I close the folder window and re-open it, there it is. Also the same if the back arrow is available to use, going back a step and then forward again, there it is. The folders are not automatically updating. I have tried restarting and zapping the PRAM, I originally though it might be something to do with Universal Control, as I'm working on my laptop, but the folder is open on another Mac next to it, so it could be a cross-system kind of thing. Doesn't seem to be the case, though. I don't really want to have to go though an OS reinstall. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there an easy fix?
