window management software?

i have an unsual request. a developer mate of mine is forced to work on macs with his new job. he's only used windows before.

one of the windows features he heavily relies on is the "tile" view. this means that all windows are changed in shape (vertically/horizontally) to fill the screen. they can all be used (IT IS NOT EXPOSE).

can anyone suggest a way or app, that will do this.

I know of SizeUp

that does mostly that.

SizeUp allows you to quickly position windows to fill exactly half the screen (splitscreen), a quarter of the screen (quadrant), full screen, or centered via the menu bar or configurable system-wide shortcuts (hotkeys). Similar to "tiled windows" functionality available on other operating systems.

Additional features include moving windows from one monitor to another and restoring a window to its original size and position (SnapBack).
