Resolved Window Server process using more CPU/GPU since Sonoma

Hi everyone,

On my MBP "16 M2 Pro I just noticed that since the Sonoma update my Window Server Process, as tracked within Activity Monitor, is fluctuating a lot with my CPU/GPU usage:
CPU : up to 20-25% usage on very short burst
GPU : up to 30-40% usage on very short burst

Before going full re-install from my OS I wanted to know if any of you noticed the same ?

Hey,

I spent the next few days paying more attention and it seems the Window Server Process was very influence by the app I was using’ every time you have like an overlay or some transparency effects it can heavily impact the CPU/GPU usage of this process. I went for a full sonoma from scratch and the behaviour stayed the same so I guess there is nothing weird here.
