I've been meaning to ask this for ages...

I've been using OS X for a few months now, after using Windows for years. There's an odd thing I've noticed about the style of the windows. Some (most) of them have the nice grey gradient, while some others have this horrible 90s looking brushed metal thing going on.

Is there a way to make all the windows look the same? I've probably messed something up somewhere!

Thank you very much!

I assume it's an OS X problem then, seeing as there's a 3rd party fix?

Will it be sorted in Leopard?

Jobs mentioned at WWDC that Leopard cleaned up window styles and made the active window more prominent.
