Windows 10 on the new MacBook Air

Smooth ride with 16GB RAM, or a no-brainer that the MacBook Pro is a much safer bet?

I plan to keep the machine for a few years - in fact, am typing this on a MacBook Air '11 which to my own surprise still works fine after some minor repairs...
