So in his infinite wisdom. Mr. Nadella has come out and stated that it's US as windows users is the reason Co-Pliot is tanking. HA HA HA HA HA.

A am sorry you bald headed twit, that's not the reason at all. This just proves what I thought about him all along. He's a one trick pony, and has no idea what the consumer/enterprise windows user base wants. Please please please board of directors at MS, remove this goof from CEO before he loses ALL YOUR MONEY. He's already removed half a trillion dollars of it back in march/april.

BTW, I just asked Co-Pilot to give me a list of all the microsoft services that it's installed in. here goes the answer.

That explains why I don't mind Windows 11. I don't use Onedrive, Office, teams, or anything else on my WIndows install. I also use my Mac for everything most of the time--except gaming and the "Windows App" to remote into work where I use all the things listed above. Especially Teams. I definitely have to use Teams.

Ah well.

Yeah NOBODY in the AI Bro community (which I really can't stand but know) is using Copilot. Nobody.

Only us fools in certain government and corporate environments where it is the easiest, and pretty much only, approved option.
I would be fine if it was the co-pilot app and that's it. I would not be so hard on microsoft. But they are shooting themselves in the feet doing what they are doing. I trust my co-pilot app way more than any other Ai provider. I don't trust MS jamming it up windows arse.

Brave IS Chrome with an additional monetary wrapper so Brave can make money. If you insist on using Chrome (webkit), you should be moving to ungoogle Chromium or Firefox.

People who recommend Brave just have no idea what they are even using.
I need proof. Show me proof. They haven't even implemented V3 Manifest in Brave.

And it sucks.

If You Use Chrome

uBlock Origin Lite is available for Chrome. This is a separate extension built specifically for Manifest V3, but it has significant limitations:

  • Cannot use all filter lists simultaneously (rule limits apply)
  • No cosmetic filtering in the default mode
  • No scriptlet injection by default
  • Limited dynamic filtering capabilities
  • Requires broader host permissions upfront

If You Use Firefox or Brave

The full uBlock Origin extension continues to work on Firefox and Brave. Firefox has committed to supporting Manifest V2 extensions, and Brave has implemented workarounds to maintain full ad-blocker functionality. For the best content blocking experience, we recommend using one of these browsers.

Sorry folks, you are being tracked by everything. Brave, Safari, Firefox. Even ungoogled Chromium will leak to a degree because Google wrote the lion's share of the codebase. If you trust them not to circumvent their promise of removing all the telemetry, then good for you, sounds like you still have faith in the system (or are monumentally naive).

Brave and DDG are not the bastion of security you think they are. Brave has it's own backdoor and DDG has contracts to provide Microsoft, Google and Yahoo some of your data. They are essentially just a wrapper for the bigger search engines.
