I am having problems with Windows 7 recognizing my optic drive. Says a file is missing. Will I have to reinstall?

It happens with your Mac in your signature running which Boot Camp Drivers?

What is the exact error message?

    Here it is:

    Unable to connect CD/DVD 1.

A file or device required for the operation of CD/DVD 1 does not exist or is used by another process, or you have no permission to access it. The virtual machine will continue running, but the device will be disconnected.

Do you operate Windows via Boot Camp or a virtual machine using VMWare Fusion or Parallels Desktop or even VirtualBox?
