its not quite a mac problem but, i have a g5 powermac with a hfs+ drive and a ntfs drive using target disk mode
windows 7
under disk drive in device manager
AAPL UNKNOWN MODEL IEEE 1394 SBP2 Device with a small yellow explanation mark and says
This device cannot start. (Code 10)

this works under linux and osx86 on this laptop so its definitely a windows issue but im not sure how to fix it

i tried this: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3165

windows installed the driver fine but if i plug in the device it goes to a black screen for about 2 seconds then it resets the pc
upon bootup if i have it plugged in it blue screen of death's
with it unplugged it rebooted normally windows popped up with this info after reboot

any other ideas or ideas how to fix the BSOD

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am trying to connect my Macbook to a PC via Target Disk Mode and can't seem to get it to pop up as a readable hard disk. Any advice?
