I know I know what a horrid thing to do, but since they are offering it for 30 bucks for students I might just pick it up and install it for the rare occasions i need to boot up in windows.

Question is will this version work on a Mac with bootcamp? I remember that XP required the professional version to work.

Thanks!

You can get the professional version for the same $30 price. Might as well get more for your money...

I use the RC1 Build 7100 on bootcamp so you will be fine 🙂

Is Windows 7 out already. I am trying to get the pricing schedule for this OS but so far none conclusive. But the price of USD30 is damn cheap. Is this for real?

It comes out on thursday, and the $30 is only for college student if your not one, the price is $200, or I think $109 for an OEM copy from newegg.

That is an incredible deal. I might have to pick that up. This is even better than the $50 preorder.
