Windows 7 in VMWare on 2011 Mini

Hi guys,

Have been searching the web with no solution to my problem.
Im forced to use windows on my computer due to some programs at my school only working on windows.
I therefor have to install windows, and i was planning on using it with VMWare. But i just don't know how to without a CD drive. I have tried to mount the ISO , but VMware can't seem to find the installation disk.

Is there a step by step guide for the 2011 mini (or any computer without a CD drive)?
I have a USB drive, but don't know how to make it a bootable drive. Don't know if that would solve the problem?

Help would be much appreciated!
