Hello, I installed Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit on my 15" rMBP under bootcamp. It has happened several times that I closed the lid and went somewhere else with the computer. When I opened my bag, the computer was extremely hot and I heard the noisy fan spinning. It was like the computer was going to melt. Sometimes, the computer did not sleep when I closed the lid. Is there a driver/patch to solve this issue?

My Boot Camp Assistant version is 5.0.4 (473). From Apple's website, it seems that the latest version is 5.0.5033. Will updating it fix the problem?

Anybody running Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise on a rMBP 15" 2012 without this issue?

Try disabling the infrared receiver. Check the box within the Boot Camp control panel, then go into device manager and disable it there (checking the box doesn't fully shut it off as I've found it).
