Windows 7 or XP on 27" iMac

I'm going to be playing games like battlefield bad company 2 and other shooters. I was wondering which version would be better? I've had a lot of problems with 7 on my Early 2009 24" but have those driver issues been addressed with the 27" iMac? Is XP even compatible with the 27"?

It is I'm sure. However, I do not think Windows XP supports the latest directx, as directx is far from open standard.

Go with 7. Let the dinosaur that is XP die. W7 Ultimate X64 works perfectly on my i7 iMac

With no added drivers (aka, none from Boot Camp), everything but my speakers work correctly. It shows that I have speakers but that's it. Headphones work & mic do work though

Huh, thats odd. With the speaker issue im not sure whether I should even touch Windows 7
