I have set up bootcamp on mac snow leopard with 32gb partition. I am only going to use it for web access.
I have installed windows 7 after formatting ntfs.
Windows installs and reboots to set up windows.
This is where I am having trouble. Windows will restart to a black screen and nothing happens. I have left it for half hour thinking it will go through the process and then start up. Still nothing.
I have removed the bootcamp partition and setup again to install XP. The CD won't read.
I install windows 7 with the same results. Black screen after restarting.
Is there something I am missing?

After the black screen, have you tried a hard reboot, then hold option to start up the Windows 7 partition again?
