    Seems that boot camp 6 drops support for Windows 7.

    You can try to create a boot disk using Windows 8, and replace Windows install file to Windows 7 one after that. Then, it is possible you are good to go.

    I do that when installing Windows server 10 technical preview which is of course out of support list of boot camp, at that time.
