Hi, I'm trying to install the Windows 8 Consumer Preview on my 13-inch early 2008 White MacBook running OS X Lion. I've downloaded the .iso from Microsoft and burned it to a DVD in Disk Utility. When I use Boot Camp Assistant, I select the partition size, insert the disk and hit install. The partition is created, and then my computer restarts. When it reloads, I get a black screen with a blinking cursor in the top left, but I can't type anything.

I've tried restarting, holding option (the four things that appear are Macintosh HD, Recovery HD, the Windows disk and an EFI disk), and choosing the Windows disk, but the same thing appears when I do: black screen with a blinking cursor. I was successful in installing the Consumer Preview on a virtual drive, so I don't think the hardware is the problem. Any ideas on how to fix/get around this? Thanks.
