Hi - need some help
I have switched from PC to MAc
I want to install windows 8 via bootcamp basically to run myob. thought $150 for windows 8 was better than $950 for myob mac!
I have bought a copy of windows 8 from microsoft and have a legal product key but didn't get disks.
I understand i need a windows 8 iso to complete the process.
The microsoft download link just gives me a windows installer exe file.
I tried downloading an iso off the net but bootcamp didnt recognise it when I tried to install with it.

Questions.
1. Where can I get a windows 8 iso that works?
2. Is there another way to install windows 8?
3. Can I use windows 8 preview and then use my licence?

(I have looked at lots of threads and websites without getting quite the information that I need.)

Borrow a friends pc and use the exe, one of the options when you run it is to download and create an iso.

After further research on this option I decided you are right. I gave my old PC to my daughter so I am borrowing it back and will create an iso from the windows installer exe file.
thanks!
