Hey all,

I'm having problems with running Windows perfectly on my MacBook Pro (around 2 weeks old, put ML on when I could, and running VMWare Fusion 4.1.3(clean install )). When I plug in an USB and let it connect to Windows, the USB device seems to be turning off.
If I let it connect to ML, it works though, so both the ports, and the device are working.

To make it weirder, on my older MacBook Pro, 1 year old, also with ML and VMware 4.1.3 (upgraded) the USB devices do work if connected to Windows, but only on 1 of the 2 USB-ports it has. On this one, connecting to ML also works fine on both ports.

Both MacBook Pro's are the standard 15" version.

I'm not really sure what the differences are between the 2, except the 2.0 vs 3.0 ports.

Hope you can help me!

Stupid question, but have you checked for updates in Windows once you plug your USB device in?

I had a node-locked usb dongle that didn't work until I installed the update for it :)

Can't find any updates available for my windows.

With one of my devices, I got a file to install the drivers for it. But that is only possible once it gets recognised by Windows.

Also worth mentioning, I'm running Windows XP Professional 32-bit with the latest service pack.
