Hi,

I've got a problem with Windows Explorer and my Iphone 4. When I attach the phone to my PC and attempt to copy pictures, Windows Explorer crashes. Has anyone experienced a similar error? I've done internet searches and haven't been able to find a solution even though others report the issue.

Steps to reproduce:
1) plug in Iphone to Win 7 64-bit laptop
2) Itunes loads and everything runs correctly
3) Open device manager and navigate to the Iphone and picture folder
4) Select a picture from the Iphone, copy, and attempt to paste to a folder on the C drive.
5) Explorer crashes with an error type BEX64

Systems:
Dell Latitude E6520, Core I5, with Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Iphone 4 with iOS 5.01

I'm hoping someone has had this error as well. I did do a phone restore so I wonder if Apple thinks these are pictures that did not originate from this phone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rick

Update: it has been awhile, but I did get this resolved. In my instance I traced it back to a bad install of Winzip. When I reinstalled Winzip, the problem went away.
