Windows fast startup on Bootcamp could damage my iMac?

As windows 10 fast startup keeps the USB port on when we shutdown the mac from windows, is there a risk? Hardware and/or software?
It seems also that fast startup is not recommended for dual boot machine. Do you use fast startup?

would suggest that restart to mac, then shutdown should be fine.

Yes it works but it's a little bit cumbersome...

It's an extra minute, but it doesn't cause problems to your iMac in terms of security or startup sequence.
