So i want to connect my PC to my MBP via gigabit. With Tiger, i would just type in the ip address of my MBP and my username: //192.168.1.40/xxxx This would bring up a window on my PC which was all the folders on my MBP. How do you do this in Leopard?

I am still pretty new, but here is what I did.

Made sure files/folders I was looking for are shared:

went to Go>>Connect to server
Typed in the following: smb://ip address

It thens promps you for the user name and password and it created the shared folder on my desk top.

Is that what you are looking for?

Thats how i can go from my MBP to the PC via wifi, but i want to go from PC to MBP. View my MBP from my PC, cuz that way i can connect with my gigabit cable. And it eliminates having to share a bunch of folders.
