Windows get sent to back when typing

I have this weird problem in Lion on both my machines. Sometimes, when I'm typing, my window will just randomly get sent to back. I've noticed it in Chrome and Mail. I'll open a new tab for example, and as I'm typing in the URL, the Chrome window gets sent to back. Or in Mail, when I'm writing a mail, the same will happen.

Haven't really noticed it in other applications, but it happens quite often both on my iMac and my MacBook Pro.

Any ideas what's going on? Anyone else have this problem?
A quick search didn't seem to shed any light on this.

Does it happen in a new account? What apps or system addons do you use on both machines?

Did you find a solution to this? This just started happening to me yesterday, and it's driving me insane? It's as if I was somehow accidentally pressing a shortcut for "send window to back" or something? Grrr... Hope you found a solution!
